What CollegeCalcAI is

A single, honest answer engine for college admissions probability.

Most "chance me" tools either gate your result behind a signup wall or hand you a number with no explanation of how it was produced. CollegeCalcAI does neither. The acceptance calculator is free with no credit card, your first calculation needs no account, and the model behind it is documented in full on our methodology page. We cover 1,100+ schools across all 50 states, including the Ivy League, large public flagships, liberal-arts colleges, and regional universities.

Beyond the free calculator, the platform offers optional school-specific AI profile analysis, an AI essay reviewer calibrated to each school's essay expectations, a searchable directory of independent admissions consultants, and a white-label calculator that consultants and counseling programs can embed on their own sites.

Who builds it

The people and standards behind the model.

CollegeCalcAI is built and maintained by the CollegeCalcAI Research Team, a small group of engineers and admissions-data analysts based in the United States. We build the deterministic scoring model, curate and reconcile the underlying school dataset against federal sources, and write the educational content across the site. Our editorial standard is simple: every statistic we publish must be traceable to a primary source, and every estimate must be reproducible.

Have a correction, a data question, or feedback on a result? We read everything sent to support@collegecalcai.com and through our contact page.

Our data

Where every number comes from.

Our acceptance rates, admitted test-score ranges, and admissions-factor weightings are drawn from U.S. Department of Education (IPEDS), NCES, and publicly reported Common Data Sets. We continuously reconcile the dataset against the U.S. Department of Education's IPEDS and College Scorecard releases, so the rates you see reflect official federal reporting rather than rounded estimates. You can explore the underlying data directly in our School Data hub and read our original admissions research, which is free to read and cite.

How we're different

The commitments that make our results trustworthy.

Published methodology
The full scoring model, factor weights, and calibration are documented publicly on /methodology. We don't hide how the number is made.
No signup wall
Your first acceptance estimate needs no account and no card. We never gate results to harvest emails.
Real federal data
Rates and ranges come from U.S. Department of Education (IPEDS), NCES, and publicly reported Common Data Sets, reconciled against the latest federal releases, not guesses.
Deterministic by design
The same profile always produces the same result. No random "AI" variance dressed up as insight.
Honest about uncertainty
We report probabilities, not promises. No tool can guarantee admission, and we never claim to.
No fabricated proof
We never invent statistics, reviews, or star ratings. Any rating shown is from real, verified users.
